Dynamic analysis and simulation on sucking process of pneumatic precision metering device for rapeseed

In order to study the relationship between vacuity and structural and operational parameters of positive and negative pressure precision metering device for rapeseed, dynamic analysis was conducted on sucking process to establish mathematical model of maximum vacuity Hmax, pressure ratio coefficient of outlet and interface was put forward. The influence factors of were studied through air current simulation of vacuum chamber with ANSYS/CFX. Simulation results show that the cone angle of the nozzle has a very significant effect on K , nozzle numbers of the seed disc and the vacuity have no significant effect on K. K is 2 when the nozzle number of the seed disc and cone angle of the nozzle is 25 and 90° respectively, in this case, Hmax is -415 Pa when the speed of the seed disc is 18 r/min. Single factor experimental results indicate that the miss index is lower than 4.36% when the absolute vacuity is greater than 420 Pa, the eligible index reaches as high as 95.52% and the miss index is 2.25% when vacuity is -500 Pa, which proves that outlet vacuum calculation model is correct. This research provides a new method for calculating the vacuum value of the similar metering device.
