Abstract:

The flue-cured tobacco (FTC) K326 was cultivated in lysimeters to study changes of plant growth and photosynthesis characteristics treated by different combinations of soil bio-modified agent, earthworm compost and EM bio-organic fertilizer at different ratios of usages. A special fertilizer for tobacco applied was set as check. The results showed that soil bio-modified agent and EM bio-organic fertilizer obviously enhanced plant height, stem wideness and leaf area of FTC, compared to the special fertilizer for tobacco. The treatments of EM bio-organic fertilizer at 3000.0 kg hm-2 and collaboration of EM bio-organic fertilizer and earthworm compost with the weight ratio at 8:2 obtained the best effect on plant growth of FTC. Especially, EM bio-organic fertilizer could improve net photosynthesis rate, stomata conductance and evapotranspiration rate of leaves in the vigorous growing period. Noticeably, 3000.0 kg hm-2 EM bio-organic fertilizer evidently increased economic yields and biological output of FTC.
