Abstract:

The method of abstracting trend component based on wavelet analysis was studied. A trend component Logistic model was established using the horizontal displacement monitoring data at a measuring point of a roller-compacted concrete (RCC) gravity dam and the parameters of the model were determined using three segments sum method and nonlinear regression. Thus, the final stable value of trend component of the displacement was obtained. Then we abstract more trend component from the data of the measurement point. The result shows that the maximum trend component does not exceed the stable value. So the final stable value can be used as a control threshold in dam safety monitoring.
