Incidence of food intolerance, related symptom and intervention effects

Abstract:

This work aimed to analyse fourteen foods’ intolerance in health-examination people, including related symptom and intervention effects. The unique food allergen specific ELISA kit were intended for in vitro quantitative analysis of IgG antibodies to 14 specific food allergens in human serum. 14 common foods’ intolerance were researched in different genders and age groups. And general food intolerance level by the influence of different foods was researched. In the test of 14 common foods, the ratio of food intolerance was from 0.4% (pork) ~ 45.9% (crab). The food intolerance in women and men were similar generally, but there were some differences about corn and wheat in certain age groups between two genders. It was found that people have different general food intolerance level by the influence of different foods. In high intolerance group, middle intolerance group and low intolerance group, the most important influences were found in food intolerance of milk, egg and crab. The influence of each food is dissimilar in symptoms of every system. After diet regulation given with food nursing, food intolerance was improved generally. Food intolerance was very common in Chinese population which related with gender and age. The food intolerance might cause variety clinical symptoms in different system and diet regulation would be helpful to reduce the specific IgG antibody induced by food intolerance.
