The factors affecting milk consumption preferences of the consumers Edirne Keşan township

Abstract:

In this study, the factors affecting pre-packaged and fresh milk consumption habits of families in Keşan township in Edirne have been examined. The data used in the study were obtained from the surveys made for 166 families with face to face meetings. Annual average milk consumption per capita in the examined families was 39.59 litres. The families prefer packaged milk more in milk consumption. In the research, chi-square analysis was used in order to analyze the factors affecting families’ packaged milk consumption. The relationships between families income level, education level, gender and age factors and the consumption of packaged milk were determined.
