Countermeasure study on disposable tableware pollution in China

Abstract:

The use of disposable tableware in China was described through literature review and social and environmental issues caused by disposable tableware were analyzed combining the practical situation. Existing management policies of disposable tableware in China were introduced, and investigations on the problems caused by using disposable tableware were carried out. Many key issues caused by the use of disposable tableware were discussed such as resources, environment, pollution and management, and a research was conducted on the problems that need to be urgently solved on this basis, improvement suggestions of resources, pollution and management problem were put forward, laying the foundation for sustainable development in this field.
