Design and test of aquaculture water environment monitoring system based on wireless sensor network

Abstract:In order to meet the demand of aquaculture water environment real-time monitoring, the water environment monitoring system based on wireless sensor network is studied and designed. The sensor uses Modbus Rs485 protocol which has strong scalability. The software design uses the dormancy and data’s fusion technology to reduce the system power consumption. According to water environment of wireless sensor network monitoring, two regions’ pH and DO in Taiping Chi reservoir were selected to be compared with the value parameter of conventional methods monitoring. The relative error of pH was 2.03% and 1.84%, respectively, and the relative error of DO value was 0.6294% and 0.63%, respectively. Their measurement accuracy could meet the application requirements of aquaculture water environment. During the system operation, the correct data transmission rate was 98.89%.
