Grape size classification algorithm research based on digital image

In this article, a grape size grading method based on machine vision system is proposed. In this method, the whole bunch of grapes image is collected with the special machine vision system, the grape edge sampling points sequence is calculated by starting from the initial point of the edge, the ellipsometric parameter extracted after the least square ellipse fitting of the single grain edge is considered as the size characteristic parameter, and the grading level model is built, finally to realize the automatic size grading of the whole string of grape.
