Abstract:

Food pollution is the presence of harmful things which are not naturally found in food. Food gets polluted in various stages starting from cultivation,  harvesting, storage processing, cooking, and serving. Food pollution is a global challenge that endangers humanity. This review is an attempt to understand various food pollutants namely soil, water, fertilizer, and pesticide, and their detrimental effect on health.
