A study on urban sustainability and the principle of transboundary liability: The interest approach paradigm

Abstract:

Principle of transboundary liability plays an important role for urban sustainability. The use of the principle of transboundary liability to the area of urban sustainability, largely in response to the necessity of each individual state to protect their rights and interests in order to safeguard the environment in urban area. Therefore, this paper will examine the use of the interest approach, which concerns with costs and benefits, which promote the principle of transboundary liability in relation to the urban sustainability from the legal perspectives, identify actions, which deal with the protection for the environment as well as a tool for the achievement urban sustainability based on the concept of sustainable development.
