A new method for trapping and killing Agrotis ypsilon using mixed powder with sasangua cake and oil cake during tobacco transplanting

Abstract:

Agrotis ypsilon is a kind of primary insects in tobacco-planting areas, especially in Southwest China. A new method for trapping and killing A. ypsilon during tobacco transplanting was introduced in this article. Under the background of the plastic film mulching planting technology, a powder mixing sasangua cake with oil cake is invented according to the specified proportion, and it is applied to the fossae to trap and kill A. ypsilon in and around them. The compound power can kill A. ypsilon directly inside the fossa or trap it onto the film and then kill it. This method possesses several merits, such as environmental protection, good insecticidal effect and practicability and is worthy of spreading in flue-cured tobacco production.
