A recognition model for rural informatization stages in China based on BP artificial neural network

Abstract:On the basis of Nolan Model of the Nolan Stage Theory, this paper put forward the seven stages model of rural informatization in China by means of the theory of “S Curve revised”. This paper put forward the evaluation index system for rural informatization maturity, based on which a recognition model of rural informatization development stage based on the artificial neural network was constructed. By inputting the evaluation indexes into the model, this paper could recognize the informatization stage quantitively. The simulated results showed that the rural informatization development in China was nowadays in the propulsion stage, which could provide the theory basis and the method support for scientific orientation.
