Quality management of animal quarantine services at the agriculture quarantine unit in the Mutiara Sis Al Jufri Palu airport

Abstract:The Agricultural Quarantine Unit is the important governmental agency in dealing with animal quarantine services at the Mutiara Sis Al Jufri Palu Airport. The quality of animal quarantine services given by the Agricultural Quarantine Unit can be reflected by the member staffs in dealing with public at the Mutiara Sis Al Jufri Palu Airport. In order to determine excellence animal quarantine services by the Agricultural Quarantine Unit, the member staffs in dealing with public at the Mutiara Sis Al Jufri Palu Airport are required to fulfil four major pillars namely; speedy, accuracy, hospitality and comfortably. The results of this study illustrate that, a lot of improvement needs to be carried out in terms of the quality of animal quarantine services in the office of the Agriculture Quarantine Unit, at the Mutiara Sis Al Jufri Palu Airport based on four mentioned pillars.
